(PRWEB) May 6, 2008 -- Knowledge Management Solutions, Inc. a leader in Web-Based Training and eLearning Technology Solutions, today announced the release of the 2008 Learning and Talent Management Technology Survey.
Since its' inception Knowledge Management Solutions, Inc (KMSI) has been focused on reinvigorating the learning and talent management technology marketplace. KMSI conducted the first Learning and Talent Management Technology Survey in June, 2002. The findings of this initial survey revealed that exorbitant per-user licensing fees, inadequate eLearning development tools and poor technology standards conformance were the most significant problems reported by the participants
KMSI's 2007 survey solicited opinions from over 20,000 industry professionals and revealed that implementation expenses for several vendor offerings were exceeding budgeted estimates by as much as 500%. The 2007 results also disclosed that a large number of organizations were using their technology to deliver regulatory compliance, HR, soft skills and information technology related materials instead of meeting their original goals associated with product and service training programs that could either increase revenues or decrease costs.
"This year we have worked with our partner Constant Contact to develop and deliver a concise survey that we hope will benefit the industry. We have included new sections in the survey that will help assess the influence of learning technology analyst organizations and another section focused on future learning technologies," said Mr. Jack E. Lee, President and CEO of KMSI.
The survey response window will close on May 31, 2008. KMSI will provide survey participants with the summarized results during the first week of June, 2008. To participate, please visit [www.kmsi.us].
